Predictive dialer that keeps agents in live conversations.

A predictive dialer places more calls than there are free agents. When a person answers, the call goes to an agent who is ready. The gain is less idle time. The risk is a call that answers when nobody is free. D Ten sets that pace with a specialist, not with a public slider and a guess.

What this mode does

The dialer watches how quickly agents free up and how often people answer. It starts extra lines so an answer usually finds an open agent. On the sample floor, you will see connected calls and other lines still dialing. Those extra lines are the point.

Pacing is a business decision and a compliance decision. Abandoned calls, dropped calls, and the message a person hears if no agent is free are regulated in the United States and in other markets. A specialist will ask what the campaign is allowed to do before recommending a pace. This page does not publish a ratio to copy.

How it differs from the other modes

An auto dialer and a progressive dialer stay at one call per agent. A power dialer waits for a click. Predictive is the mode that dials ahead. If the floor cannot accept an answered call with no agent, predictive is the wrong tool. Say that on the form. The specialist would rather change the mode than force a pace.

What to have ready

Agent count by hour, average talk time if you know it, the list source, and the caller ID. A US VoIP trunk carries the calls and presents the number. No price is listed. Call or send the form and a specialist will walk the floor plan.
